Ingredients

  • 3 avocados
  • 1 large tomato
  • 3 tomatillos
  • 1 small white onion
  • half a bunch of cilantro
  • 1 lime
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • salt to taste
  • optional jalapeño

Instructions

    1. Start by halving your avocados and adding them to your mixing bowl (keep a seed or two for later).
    2. Next, dice up your tomatoes, tomatillos, onion, cilantro and garlic. Add them to the bowl.Cut and then squeeze your lime into the bowl.
    3. Add a healthy sprinkle of salt.
    4. If you want a spicier guacamole, chop and add your jalapeño (adding the seeds will make it extra spicy).
    5. Now mix your ingredients gently in the bowl.
    6. If you aren’t eating the guacamole immediately, add your avocado seeds into your bowl to help prevent it from browning.
    7. Give it a taste before serving.
    8. I often add extra cilantro and lime juice because that is the way I prefer mine.
    9. Some people love more garlic!
    10. Play with your ingredients and come up with the perfect combination that works for you!!
    11. Serve it with fresh chopped veggies, chips or use it as a spread on avocado toast.
