Today we want to show you a quick way to whip up your own almond milk at home. Almonds offer some great nutrients so this can be a great addition to your diet.

It’s simple to make and can be kept in the fridge for about a week. You can even add ingredients like cacao and turn it into chocolate milk. We’d love to hear about your favorite almond milk recipe!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of soaked almonds
  • 6 cups of water
  • 3 dates
  • A pinch of salt
  • Vanilla extract to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak your almonds overnight to soften them.
  2. Drain the water and dump your nuts
    into a blender.
  3. Add about 6 cups of water to the blender along with your
    dates, salt and vanilla.
  4. Blend for several minutes and then strain it through your nut milk bag.
  5. Bottle it and keep it in the refrigerator until you are ready to use it.
